In July 2012, Oréll Technosytems (India) Pvt. Ltd won a contract for installing Oréll Digital Language Lab software at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technical Education & Research Centre (MGITER), Navsari, an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute which runs under the management of Shree Navsari Paschim Vibhag Koli Trust Sanchalit.
As part of improving the language learning methodology of the institute, the authorities selected ODLL software. Narayan Patel, the Director of the institute took initiative to install the digital language laboratory from Oréll. The business coordinators from Oréll contacted Narayan Patel and thus team Oréll was invited to their campus. Oréll technical support team conducted a process study to collect all the necessary requirements of the faculty. The premium edition of ODLL with one teacher plus 30 students’ consoles was preferred by the institute for implementation.
Unlike other language lab, ODLL is specifically designed for audio/video recording, online chatting, lesson assigning/submitting/editing, live presentation, real time translation and more. The two way communication with instructor, incognito student pairing and option for group discussions are helpful for students of MGITER to improve their language fluency and communicative efficiency.
