Theivanai Ammal College for Women at Villupuram was established in 1989 with a clear vision of uplifting rural women and to provide them opportunities to exhibit their skills and to get them into the main stream of profession like the students from urban area. The college is accredited by N.A.A.C (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and it offers graduate and postgraduate courses in various streams including Arts, Science, and Commerce. As part of N.A.A.C visit, the college authorities decided to implement a digital language lab in their campus. Besides N.A.A.C visit, the management and the faculty members of the institution were thinking of different means to improve the academic status of the college. After a brainstorming session, the authorities decided to opt for ODLL, the digital language lab of Oréll Inc. Ltd. Mr. Senthil Kumar S, the Secretary of the college was the person who signed contract with Oréll for our integrated ODLL software.
ODLL- Special Edition with 1 teacher plus 60 students configuration was installed at the college. LSRW teaching methodology used in the ODLL software is increasingly popular with exclusive public schools and professional colleges. After the implementation, the business analysts’ team from Oréll provided guidance to the instructors of the college regarding the software and its working.
