Oréll Language Lab Implemented at Thekkan Kuttur AMLPS, Malappuram

Oréll digital language lab, the premier language learning software has been implemented at A.M.L.P.S, Thekkan Kuttur one of the lower primary schools which provide quality education to students in Thalakkad village of Malappuram district.

Implementation of Oréll language lab was carried out as part of the Complete Education Project initiated by the honourable MLA of Tirur legislative Assembly Mr C. Mammootty in co-operation with Keltron-India's first and the largest State electronics enterprise.

Following the installation of Oréll language lab at Thekkan Kuttur AMLP School, Technical Executive from Oréll gave the teachers a clear-cut idea about the software and its unique application in language sessions. The teacher console helps the instructor to monitor all student functions and to listen to a particular student independently and to evaluate his speech/reading with the original voice-over. Teacher can interrupt students, if necessary, to correct or to give instructions. The high quality language learning material provided along with this interactive multimedia tool helps the teachers to assign works if she hasn’t prepared anything new.

Learners can use their consoles to interact privately with the teacher and to clarify their doubts while practising or doing assignments. They can access lessons assigned from master source while logging in and can use it for personal practice. While the students can develop speaking skills with internationally accepted accent and style, listening skills can be developed in British or American accent, as desired by the institution. Also they will get exposure to phonetics, new vocabulary, expressions and other linguistic usages relevant in real-world contexts. Through this language lab, teacher can give custom-made lessons to exceptionally intelligent students and special attention to slow learners.

By using Oréll language lab, teachers can instruct any language effectively with the help of suitable study resources and learners can practise the lesson materials at a pace suited to their ability.
