Oréll Talk-P3, the premium edition of Oréll digital language lab has been implemented at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, one of the finest institutes in Punjab.
The Premium edition software implemented at Baba Farid University can be used by two hundred users at a time for language or communication practice. The installation was successful and the students started language practice using Oréll Talk from the very next day of the installation.
Oréll language lab installed at the university empowers the language instructors to work with the existing study materials or to create interactive lessons and activities that suit the syllabus of the course. The learners can access the assignments and work at their own pace. Teachers can also assign media for group activity. The system helps in increasing productivity, improving quality of instruction and foster professional development.
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established under an Act passed by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in July, 1998. It is named after Baba Farid, a 12th-century Punjabi sufi, and headquartered in Faridkot. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic and physical environment, conducive to free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad, thereby opening a window to the world for the health professionals, health planners, health managers, biomedical and social scientists and educators in health sciences of the country.
