Vettam AHMLP School; New Client of Oréll Language Lab

As part of the ‘Complete Education Project’ initiated by the honourable MLA of Tirur legislative Assembly Mr C. Mammotty in co-operation with Keltron, India’s first and the largest electronics corporation in the State sector manufacturing products in frontline segments such as Aerospace Electronics, Oréll digital language lab has been implemented at AHMLPS-Vettam, one of the top private aided schools located in the Vettam village of Malappuram district.

Subsequent to the installation of digital language lab at Vettam AHMLP School, a successful training was delivered to the language faculty of the school by the technical executive from Oréll. The simple yet comprehensive platform of Oréll language lab acts as a complete solution for self-learning, as well as a teaching support to the instructors. By using the Oréll language learning software, teachers can create blended learning atmosphere for the learners to add more fun and interaction to the sessions. Teachers can monitor every student and guide them properly without distracting other students. Besides, the system allows the instructor to assign different types of learning exercises to students from the pre-constructed set or newly created collection.

Learners can use their consoles to speak privately with the teacher and can clarify their doubts while practising the lessons. They can speak confidently without any embarrassment or feeling that somebody is listening. The extensive, superior quality learning resources added in the digital language lab makes it appealing for the teachers to conduct the session even if they are not prepared. Through the wide variety of lesson activities, communication skills including listening, speaking, reading and writing skills are aimed to develop in a very organised and competent manner.

Students will get exposure to phonemic transcription and different accents of a word, new vocabulary collection, expressions, usages relevant in real-world contexts and much more. Through this language lab, teacher can give individualised attention to students who stand backward in language and communication skills.
